Vaguenites (noun) from the original adjective Vague (adjective)
So...I have a "thing" for inventing words...usually with an existing cognate...occasionally a combination...but primarily because no other word exists to describe an abstract concept or a concrete object.
I'm sure you too have met a "Vaguenite" - you know ... the person who won't be held to anything, suffers from an acute phobia of commitment, is skillful in the art of avoidance.
I'm actually very impressed by "Vaguenite" because their intellects are keenly designed to predict situation where they might actually have a responsibility, may be burdened with an expectation, or could in anyway be held accountable.
Can you imagine coasting through life dodging all liabilities?
Well, it's not for me.
While I'm amazed, I'm not a coaster (noun).
- One who acts in an aimless manner.
- A small mat or plate placed under a vessel.
I'll take my chances crashing against the waves in a somewhat rickety craft.
I'll set my compass by True North and sail into the sun with the wind stern side.
Vaguenites can have their selfish, small, and uneventful lives.
I choose to live in a "Yes" world.. a place that calls for definitives...for better or for worse...I'll take a risk on "Yes."
So for all you "Vaguenites"...there is a cure - care enough about other people to say "Yes."
